Job summary

Freudenberg is seeking a Maintenance Engineering Manager at our Macon, GA facility to lead the maintenance team and ensure safe, reliable operations. You will oversee preventive maintenance, coordinate capital projects, monitor equipment reliability, and drive continuous improvement to boost plant performance.

The role requires a Bachelor's in mechanical or electrical engineering, 5–8 years in maintenance/production, and 2+ years in leadership. This is an on-site role at our Georgia facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• 5-8 years of maintenance engineering or production operations in manufacturing.
• 2+ years in a leadership role with direct reports.
• Strong understanding of mechanical/electrical/instrumentation/automation aspects.
• Familiarity with preventive and corrective maintenance processes.
• Experience with rotating equipment and PLCs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the maintenance team, setting priorities and coordinating activities.
• Oversee preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and upkeep of equipment.
• Support capital projects by coordinating resources, contractors, tools, and requirements.
• Monitor maintenance performance, analyze reliability, ensure safety/quality standards.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance plant reliability and efficiency.
