Job summary

The Pivot Group Network in Michigan is actively seeking experienced Maintenance Managers to partner with manufacturers in and around Newaygo. This role centers on maximizing equipment uptime, leading maintenance teams, and driving reliability improvements across the plant floor.

Candidates should bring strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, plus CMMS proficiency and preventive maintenance program experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in industrial maintenance, including supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs and CMMS software.

Responsibilities

• Track maintenance metrics such as uptime, response time, and repair costs.
• Coordinate outside contractors for specialized repairs and projects.
• Train technicians and support continuous improvement on the plant floor.
• Plan and schedule preventive maintenance for production equipment and facility systems.
• Assign work orders to maintenance technicians and follow up on completion.
• Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and coordinate repairs to limit downtime.
• Manage spare parts inventory and order supplies within budget.
• Enforce safety rules and lockout tagout procedures in the maintenance area.

• Five or more years in industrial maintenance, including supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs and CMMS software.

Bonus Qualifications

• Certification in maintenance and reliability such as CMRP.
• Experience with lean manufacturing or total productive maintenance.
• PLC and controls troubleshooting experience.
• Formal training in predictive maintenance methods such as vibration analysis.
• Associate or bachelor degree in engineering or industrial technology.
