Job summary

Freudenberg Performance Materials LP (USA) is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance team in a safe, efficient manufacturing environment. You will oversee preventive maintenance, repairs, and the upkeep of production equipment, facilities, and utilities, while supporting capital projects and driving reliability improvements.

You will coordinate with production and engineering, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards across the site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5–8 years in maintenance engineering or production operations in a manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years in a leadership role with direct reports.
• Solid knowledge of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, automation, and basic engineering aspects of production equipment.
• Familiarity with preventive and corrective maintenance processes; rotating equipment and PLC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the maintenance team, setting priorities and coordinating activities to support safe, efficient operations.
• Oversee preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and the upkeep of production equipment, facilities, and utilities.
• Support capital projects and maintenance planning by coordinating resources, contractors, tools, and technical requirements.
• Monitor maintenance performance, analyze equipment reliability, and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and overall plant performance.
