Qualifications

• Two years experience in general maintenance with ability to recognize electrical, plumbing and mechanical issues.
• Two years technical school and three years’ related field work.
• Strong English skills (reading, writing, verbal).
• Experience with Microsoft Windows and Office software.
• Ability to interact with all levels of management and lead a diverse workforce.
• Ability to make independent decisions and solve problems with minimal direction.
• Lifting up to 30 lbs; standing for long periods; climbing stairs and walking.
• Work in a distribution center with variable temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance staff and assign work across buildings, grounds and equipment.
• Ensure housekeeping and cleanliness of all work areas; maintain safe conditions.
• Plan and schedule routine maintenance; establish work priorities.
• Inspect work for completeness and quality.
• Transfer equipment and personnel between projects as needed.
• Diagnose problems and initiate corrective actions.
