Job summary

The Pivot Group Network is seeking a Maintenance Manager in Jenison, MI to lead maintenance activities across manufacturing environments within Ottawa County. This role focuses on reliability, safety, and continuous improvement, with a salary range of $87,000 to $128,000 depending on experience.

We partner with manufacturers in the Jenison area and surrounding regions to connect skilled professionals with long-term opportunities.

Qualifications

Experience in industrial maintenance with supervisory duties.
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
Ability to read blueprints/schematics and train staff.

Responsibilities

Train technicians and support continuous improvement on the plant floor.
Plan and schedule preventive maintenance for production equipment and facility systems.
Assign work orders to maintenance technicians and follow up on completion.
Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and coordinate repairs to limit downtime.
Manage spare parts inventory and order supplies within budget.
Enforce safety rules and lockout/tagout procedures in maintenance area.
Track maintenance metrics (uptime, response time, repair costs).
Coordinate outside contractors for specialized repairs and projects.
