Job summary

H.B. Fuller Company is seeking a Maintenance Manager to ensure safe and efficient maintenance of production equipment. You will oversee the maintenance department, manage personnel, and develop preventive and predictive programs to support continuous operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electronics, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or a similar field and at least 5 years of experience.
• Or successful completion of a vocational school or associate’s degree in similar fields and 7 years of experience.
• Or 10 years of experience in maintenance as a technician or mechanic.

Job Overview

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for ensuring safe and proper maintenance and repair of production equipment. This role oversees the maintenance department, manages personnel, develops preventative/predictive maintenance programs, spearheads maintenance projects and coordinates with production team management.

• Maintain and update the preventative maintenance schedule.
• Report non-conformances and work to correct them.

• Evaluate maintenance support staff for training needs.

Minimum Requirements

• Previous maintenance management experience or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in electronics, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or a similar field and at least 5 years of experience.
• Or successful completion of a vocational school or associate’s degree in similar fields and 7 years of experience.
• Or 10 years of experience in maintenance as a technician or mechanic.

Preferred Experience

• Induction heaters, HVAC, electric motors, fork lift repair, compressor repair, process cooling tower and dust collection.
• Electromechanical machine adjustments, motor speeds, feed rates and identification of machine problems resulting in downtime.
• Electrical troubleshooting in the absence of schematics or electrical drawings.
• Fabrication, general welding and brazing skills.
• Reading and interpreting safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, schematics, blueprints and procedure manuals.
• Strong written reporting and communication skills.

Pay & Benefits

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location. The salary for this role is $100,000 - $125,000.
