Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance and reliability operations at a high-volume production facility in Monroe, WI. The role focuses on maximizing equipment uptime, ensuring a safe, efficient environment, and guiding a skilled maintenance team.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in manufacturing maintenance, with hands-on electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical troubleshooting, and a strong background in budgeting and leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• 5+ years as Maintenance Manager in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and automated systems.
• Experience with budgeting and cost control.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation.
• Carry out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues.
• Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities.
• Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary.
• Manage relationships with contractors and service providers.
• Keep a maintenance log and report on daily activities.
• Ensure health and safety policies are complied with.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting for engines, conveyors, and other mechanical systems.
• Lead the maintenance team in electrical troubleshooting, hydraulic maintenance, and other related tasks.
• Develop and implement strategies for improving efficiency while reducing maintenance costs.
• Establish and monitor programs for critical equipment analysis and condition monitoring techniques.
• Prepare and control department budget, forecasts, and manage expenditures.
• Monitor KPIs and take corrective actions when necessary.
• Develop and maintain a CMMS.
