Job summary

Judge Direct Placement seeks a Maintenance Manager for a Southeast Georgia manufacturing facility, just over an hour from Savannah. You will supervise a 40-strong maintenance team in a high-volume operation to ensure on-time production and delivery.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of management experience in food/beverage manufacturing, solid PLC troubleshooting skills, and a strong mechanical aptitude. Ammonia refrigeration knowledge is a plus; relocation assistance is offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of management experience in a high-volume food or beverage manufacturing environment.
• Solid PLC troubleshooting experience.
• Excellent strategic and growth mindset.
• Proficient with Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Some ammonia refrigeration knowledge is preferred.
• Excellent mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead maintenance processes to ensure on-time production and delivery
• Participate in lean/continuous improvement projects
• Lead, coach, and manage a team of 40 employees in a high volume manufacturing facility
• Selects and trains employees to produce at standard-and-above efficiency
• Coach, train and develop direct reports
• Establish and implement preventive maintenance systems
• Collaborate with Engineering with new equipment installation
