Job summary

Responsibilities include planning preventive maintenance, overseeing electrical & PLC systems, managing parts and records in the ERP, and ensuring compliance with HACCP and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical schooling preferred.
• 4+ years in industrial/meat processing maintenance.
• 5+ years operating ammonia refrigeration; lead tech preferred.
• Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, USDA and PSM requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance of buildings, utilities and processing areas.
• Direct structural maintenance: masonry, carpentry, painting & equipment support.
• Oversee electrical maintenance: motor controls, wiring, PLC systems.
• Plan preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Maintain records and inventory using the ERP system.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, safety and sanitation rules.
• Assist with contractor oversight and special projects.
• Remain on-call for emergency maintenance.
