Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field required.
• Minimum of five years of maintenance management or supervisory experience in food processing or meat processing.
• Experience in a beef slaughter or meat-processing facility is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the daily activities of the Maintenance Department to support safe and efficient beef slaughter, fabrication, rendering, hide-processing, and cold-storage operations.
• Oversee inspection, troubleshooting, repair, installation, and maintenance of production equipment and utilities.
• Establish preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve reliability and reduce downtime.
• Plan and manage capital projects, equipment installations, and facility improvements through completion.
• Lead, train, and develop maintenance staff while managing overtime and performance evaluations.
• Coordinate with Operations, Safety, Food Safety, Sanitation, and Engineering to ensure regulatory compliance.
