Job summary

West Virginia University in Morgantown seeks a Maintenance Manager Zone 6 to supervise facilities maintenance staff and oversee corrective and preventive operations. The role ensures compliance with applicable codes and WVU policies while delivering reliable building services around the clock.

You will develop budgets, manage personnel, and drive safety and performance, coordinating with campus stakeholders to meet project deadlines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Course work directly related to mechanical, electrical or systems engineering and facilities management experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare weekly status reports and lead associated meetings.
• Identify, prioritize and manage deferred maintenance items.
• Develop and manage operation budgets and schedules for repairs and maintenance.
• Lead staff, train on safety procedures, and evaluate performance.
• Coordinate with other shops to ensure timely completion of work requests.
