Job summary

Thompson Thrift is seeking a Maintenance Manager for Watermark at Steele Crossing in Fayetteville, AR. You will lead day-to-day maintenance operations, supervise technicians, and ensure preventative maintenance and timely service delivery across a Class A multifamily community.

You will collaborate with management, vendors, and partners to protect asset value, optimize occupancy, and deliver high-quality resident experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in apartment or property maintenance.
• At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or lead maintenance role.
• Experience with Class A, new construction, or luxury multifamily communities preferred.
• Availability for on-call emergencies and strong problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support maintenance technicians to ensure high-quality work and timely completion.
• Oversee daily maintenance operations including service requests and make-readies.
• Ensure service requests are completed within timelines and document completion.
• Manage apartment turn process to support efficient make-readies and revenue protection.
• Maintain a preventative maintenance program through regular inspections of systems and common areas.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors, including obtaining bids and ensuring quality and cost control.
