Job summary

Toledo Tool & Die is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance activities in an automotive stamping environment. You will lead a team of multi-craft technicians, ensure equipment reliability, safe operation, and production uptime across stamping presses and related automation.

Collaboration with Production, Engineering, Quality, Tool & Die, and EHS will drive preventive maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Maintenance Management, or related field preferred.
• 5–7 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Automotive stamping experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC, and automation systems.
• Experience with CMMS systems, preventive maintenance programs, and maintenance planning.
• Familiarity with IATF 16949 standards, safety regulations, and customer-specific requirements.
• Experience supporting large-tonnage stamping presses and tooling is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day maintenance for stamping presses and related equipment.
• Develop and improve PM and PdM programs to maximize uptime.
• Guide rapid root-cause analysis and repairs for critical failures.
• Manage maintenance KPIs and documentation in Plex CMMS.
• Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Tool & Die for equipment issues.
• Provide leadership and coaching across shifts.
• Oversee installation, upgrades, and capital projects related to maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 and safety standards.
