Job summary

EmployBridge is partnering with a large, highly automated manufacturer in Carol Stream, IL to hire a Maintenance Manager for a 361,000 sq ft facility. This role emphasizes visible plant-floor leadership, developing maintenance teams, and driving reliability improvements.

You will lead 25+ technicians (including 4 direct reports), drive preventive maintenance strategies, and collaborate closely with operations to boost equipment reliability and production performance across 19 production lines.

Qualifications

• Experience leading maintenance teams in manufacturing environments.
• Strong preventive maintenance and reliability knowledge.
• Ability to lead from the plant floor with hands-on leadership.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a maintenance organization of 25+ employees (4 direct reports).
• Build accountability and strengthen the capabilities of the maintenance team.
• Drive preventive maintenance strategy, execution, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with operations and plant leadership to improve equipment reliability and production performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve maintenance processes, systems, and execution.
