Job summary

Northwest Frozen LLC is seeking a Maintenance Manager for the 2nd shift in Des Moines, WA. This full-time role pays $90,000–$110,000 per year, DOE, and requires hands-on mechanical expertise to lead a maintenance team in a food production facility. Expect working interviews on real equipment to prove skills.

You will supervise and coach the 2nd-shift crew, ensure maintenance is tracked, and coordinate with production to minimize downtime while upholding safety and GMP standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience, including 1+ year leading a team.
• Food plant experience a plus.
• Excellent hands-on mechanical skills.
• PLC, refrigeration or welding experience a plus.
• Experience with a CMMS or work-order system.
• Comfortable in cold, wet production areas; safety-minded.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule and coach the 2nd-shift maintenance team.
• Keep preventive maintenance and work orders on track and documented.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment hands-on (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic).
• Work with production to set priorities and cut downtime.
• Enforce lockout/tagout, safety and food safety/GMP rules.
• Hand off clearly to the day-shift team.

This is a huge responsibility, and there's nowhere to hide. If you aren't an excellent mechanic, this job isn't for you. We do working interviews, so be ready to show us your skills on real equipment.
