Job summary

The Partners Alliance is seeking a Maintenance Manager for a steel industry service provider linked to the US Steel facility in Braddock. The role leads maintenance activities, ensures safety, and drives continuous improvement in a 24/7 environment.

You will supervise staff, coordinate contractors, troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical systems, and manage procurement and budgeting while aligning with production needs and OEM guidelines.

Qualifications

• Lead and coordinate all maintenance activities to ensure safe, reliable equipment availability.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and company standards in all activities.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for maintenance.
• Manage procurement of parts, supplies, and tools; support budgeting and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily operations in a 24/7 environment.
• Supervise, schedule, and support staff.
• Recruit, hire, train, and manage employees and contractors.
• Perform hands-on troubleshooting of mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical systems.
• Collaborate with Operations to prioritize repairs and plan capital projects.
• Maintain accurate logs and records in ERP systems.
• Communicate discrepancies to Operations and schedule immediate repairs for safety-related issues.
