Job summary

Irongatetalent is seeking a Maintenance Manager for the 1st shift (7AM - 5PM) to oversee plant processing lines and capital projects in an Iowa facility. The role emphasizes safe operation, regulatory compliance, and cross-department collaboration.

The candidate will lead a maintenance team, coordinate with vendors, and ensure resources and tools are available to sustain plant processes. Strong mechanical, electrical, and CAD/PLC skills are required.

Qualifications

Minimum of an Associates degree or the equivalent in experience with knowledge in the electrical and mechanical field.

Responsibilities

Develop the layout of plant processing lines to facilitate changes or additions to plant operations; coordinate planning and construction of plant additions or modifications.
Ensure safety and regulatory policies are implemented and OSHA regulations are followed.
Ensure Engineering Department has tools, training, and supplies to maintain the facility and processes.
Develop and oversee implementation of Capital and Expense Budget projects.
Maintain relationships with contractors and vendors for efficient work.
Lead and direct the work of direct reports to ensure cohesive operation with other departments.
