Qualifications

• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatic and welding.
• Scheduling, laying out and assigning work.
• Train and provide work direction to assigned personnel in the performance of a wide variety of duties related to maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Manage team in the maintenance and repair of industrial plant equipment, DOT fleet compliance, heavy equipment, welding, and industrial electric.
• Schedule, direct, and manage a crew of Maintenance Mechanics/Technicians involved in maintenance specialties.
• Provide training, work direction and guidance while performing work in one or more of the skilled trades.
• Conduct performance reviews, coach team members, and monitor work of assigned crew members.
• Estimate cost of labor and materials for work orders; obtain competitive prices for equipment and supplies needed.
