Job summary

Lutheran SeniorLife in Zelienople, PA, is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead the Facilities team and oversee plant operations, grounds, and security at our continuing care community. This is a daytime role with a 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. shift.

You will ensure life-safety compliance and provide a safe, esthetically pleasing environment for residents, guests and staff, while guiding maintenance, engineering, and team development, and maintaining 24/7 readiness for emergencies.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years equivalent practical experience in facility management environment.
• Experience in a Healthcare senior living, hospital, hotel, or university setting preferred, preferably in Long Term Care.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience managing employees preferred.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Working knowledge of computers, Microsoft Word and Excel required.

The Maintenance Manager maintains 24/7 overall responsibility for the effective total management of the Maintenance Department. This includes Plant Operations, Grounds and Building Maintenance, Security, and Systems Engineering. The Maintenance Manager is also responsible for life safety management and for ensuring that a safe and esthetically pleasing environment is available to all residents, guests and visitors throughout the Community.
