THE OPPORTUNITY
This is a critical leadership role overseeing all maintenance operations at a chemical manufacturing facility within one of the company's fastest-growing segments. You'll own asset reliability, PM/PdM programs, contractor management, and maintenance KPIs - partnering closely with operations and engineering to keep the plant running safely and efficiently. The right candidate is a reliability-minded leader who builds systems, develops people, and uses data to drive uptime.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
- Lead site maintenance operations with a focus on safety, environmental compliance, reliability, cost control, and continuous improvement
- Own all maintenance activities - preventive, predictive, and corrective - to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of plant assets
- Analyze critical equipment and processes to identify downtime and reliability risks; develop and execute maintenance strategies and contingency plans
- Establish and manage PM and PdM programs including vibration analysis, lubrication, inspections, and condition-based monitoring
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with external contractors and service providers for routine maintenance, turnarounds, and annual inspections
- Drive technical analysis of production processes to identify equipment, process, and instrumentation/control improvement opportunities
- Measure, track, and report maintenance KPIs - OEE, MTBF, maintenance cost, schedule compliance - and use data to prioritize improvements
- Lead equipment failure investigations, perform root-cause analysis, and implement design, process, or procedural changes to prevent recurrence
- Develop and lead the site's continuous improvement program including KPI reporting, incident/near-miss investigations, skills training, and CI teams
- Collaborate with operations, engineering, HSEQ, and supply chain to ensure maintenance strategies align with production goals and capital project execution
- Support capital projects by providing maintenance input on equipment selection, reliability, maintainability, and lifecycle cost considerations
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 6-10+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with drilling operations and downhole equipment
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass pre-employment background, medical, alcohol, and drug screening
