Job summary

Job Juncture in Connecticut seeks an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead facility and equipment maintenance and manage the maintenance team for safe, reliable, and efficient production. You will implement preventive maintenance programs, oversee CMMS-managed work orders, and collaborate with engineering, quality, and operations to drive continuous improvement and cost reduction.

The role requires a 5+ year manufacturing maintenance background and a Bachelor's degree in engineering or related

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; preferred.
  • 5+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
  • Previous maintenance leadership or supervisory experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated equipment.
  • Familiarity with PLC-controlled machinery, industrial controls, HVAC, compressors, boilers, and facility systems is preferred.
  • Experience using a CMMS or similar maintenance-management platform.
  • Strong leadership, planning, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and industrial safety practices.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop maintenance technicians and support personnel.
  • Plan and oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Maintain production machinery, facility systems, utilities, and supporting equipment.
  • Reduce equipment downtime through root-cause analysis and corrective action.
  • Develop maintenance schedules that support production requirements.
  • Manage the CMMS, work orders, maintenance records, and spare-parts inventory.
  • Establish and track maintenance performance indicators (downtime, response time, PM completion, reliability).
  • Coordinate equipment installations, upgrades, repairs, and capital projects.
  • Manage relationships with outside contractors, equipment suppliers, and service providers.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements, safety policies, environmental standards, and regulations.
  • Support continuous-improvement, lean-manufacturing, and cost-reduction initiatives.
  • Prepare and manage the maintenance department’s operating and capital budgets.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, quality, and operations leadership.
  • Provide hands-on technical support for complex equipment issues.

Job description

We are recruiting an experienced Maintenance Manager for a growing manufacturing organization. This individual will lead all facility and equipment maintenance activities, manage the maintenance team, and ensure production equipment operates safely, reliably, and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and develop maintenance technicians and support personnel.

  • Manage relationships with outside contractors, equipment suppliers, and service providers.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements, company safety policies, environmental standards, and applicable regulations.
