Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead facility operations for a manufacturing client in Salisbury, NC. You’ll oversee in-house maintenance and custodial teams, manage vendors, and ensure safe, reliable operations across multiple buildings.

Oversee multiple buildings, managing in-house maintenance and custodial teams and contracted vendor services to ensure safe, reliable facility operations.Perform hands-on maintenance, conduct site walkthroughs, manage work orders, coordinate repairs and preventive maintenance, and partner with vendors to ensure reliable facility operations and client satisfaction.About the jobIn this operational leadership role, you’ll oversee and optimize facilities and engineering services to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant performance across all systems and teams. You’ll manage everything from mechanical systems and maintenance workflows to budgeting, safety programs, and client relationships, all while developing staff and driving continuous improvement in service delivery.Accountable for managing people, setting direction and deploying resources; typically is responsible for performance evaluation, pay reviews and hire/fire decisions. Results are primarily achieved through the work of others and typically depend on the manager's ability to influence and negotiate with parts of the organization. Progression within Career Band reflects acquisition of broad technical expertise, business and industry knowledge, and process and people leadership capabilities.
