Job summary

A Northeast Ohio manufacturer is seeking a Maintenance Manager who can lead a maintenance team, strengthen the preventive maintenance program, and still get on the floor to troubleshoot equipment with the team.

The ideal candidate has extensive hands-on maintenance experience, strong CMMS skills, and a track record of balancing vendors, projects, and day-to-day plant maintenance. This role thrives on on-floor collaboration and problem-solving with the team.

Qualifications

• Strong experience using a CMMS to organize, track, and drive maintenance activity.
• Comfortable troubleshooting electrical, controls, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical problems.
• 2+ years of maintenance leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience building and managing preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Ability to read schematics, equipment documentation, and technical drawings.
• 5+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Hands-on on-floor diagnosis and working alongside the maintenance team.
• Experience balancing vendors, equipment projects, parts, inspections, and day-to-day plant maintenance.

I’m working with a growing Northeast Ohio manufacturer looking for a Maintenance Manager who still likes getting their hands dirty.

This isn’t a desk-only management role. They need someone who can lead a maintenance team, strengthen the preventive maintenance program, and still get out on the floor to troubleshoot equipment alongside the team.

What we are looking for:
