Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance team in Monmouth, IL. The role focuses on ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operation of production equipment and facility systems, with emphasis on preventive maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.

The successful candidate will supervise maintenance professionals, collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, and EHS, and drive downtime reduction and equipment performance improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a maintenance management or leadership role.
• Strong understanding of plumbing, carpentry and electrical systems.
• Experience in planning maintenance operations and KPI-driven maintenance.
• Proficient in MS Office and CMMS.

Responsibilities

• Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation to maintain high standards of work.
• Inspect facilities to identify and resolve issues related to motors, pneumatics, engines, conveyors, and hydraulics.
• Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities, including mechanical and machine maintenance.
• Monitor equipment inventory and place orders as necessary.
• Monitor expenses and manage the maintenance budget.
• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing maintenance team.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Maintenance Manager to join our team in the Engineering industry. Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing maintenance team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or other managerial role, with a minimum of 5+ years of experience.
• Experience in planning maintenance operations.
• Solid understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems, etc.
• Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment.
• Ability to keep track of and report on activity.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Degree from a vocational school or BSc/BA in business administration or facility management will be an advantage.

• Proficient in MS Office and understanding of maintenance management software (CMMS).
• Strong understanding and ability to troubleshoot issues related to motors, pneumatics, engines, conveyors, mechanical maintenance, machine maintenance tech, and hydraulics.
• Proven experience with electrical troubleshooting and scheduling.
• Experience with KPIs and their implementation in a maintenance environment.
