We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Maintenance Manager to oversee the Maintenance department of our RTH and Dry rice packaging plant. As an integral part of our team, they will be responsible for managing the maintenance team, ensuring overall efficiency of plant, manage R&M budget and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
The role will be reporting to our Director of Manufacturing & Engineering and will be based out of Missouri City, Texas.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of mechanics, providing guidance, mentoring, and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Assign tasks and projects to team members, ensuring that work is completed on time and meets quality and food safety standards
Technical Expertise: Provide technical leadership and expertise in the operation and maintenance of overall plant which includes packing machines, retort systems, robot, utilities, “end of line” automation etc.
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to enhance plant efficiency
Budget Management: Develop and execute the annual maintenance operating budget, oversee R&M department expenditures. Developing and Maintaining a spare part policy and manage ordering and inventory of all critical spare parts.
Reliability Strategy & OEE: Drive plant-wide reliability initiatives using TPM methodologies to eradicate recurring equipment breakdowns and maximize Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
CMMS Data Ownership: Own and manage the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) (e.g., SAP PM), ensuring complete data accuracy for work order closeouts, PM compliance, and asset tracking.
Training and Development: Identify training needs within the maintenance team and develop programs to enhance skills and knowledge. Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Communication: Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, presenting technical information in a clear and understandable manner. Collaborate with other department heads to align engineering activities with overall company objectives.
