The NYPA Project features ten strategically located Small Clean Power Plants (SCPP) across New York City, managed from a state-of-the-art control room in Astoria, NY. These plants utilize ten General Electric LM6000 combustion turbines in simple cycle mode, with a combined capacity of approximately 450 megawatts, providing reliable, sustainable energy to the city. Opportunity Summary

The Maintenance Manager will oversee maintenance and repair activities at a critical power plant, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with policies, technical standards, and NYPA's Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) program. Responsibilities include managing preventive and predictive maintenance, acting as Project Manager for projects, and collaborating with plant teams to improve performance and reduce downtime. The role also involves contractor coordination, documentation, training, and occasional administrative support for NAES employees working on the
