Job Title: Maintenance & Repair Manager

Location: Elizabeth, NJ (with 70% travel to North Bergen and South Kearny)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Compensation: $80K–$100K base + 10% bonus

About the Role:

Join the Orion team as a hands-on leader responsible for overseeing chassis maintenance and repair operations across key port locations. This is a high-impact role where you'll manage daily inspections, drive vendor performance, control repair costs, and support field operations to ensure quality, safety, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage pre- and post-inspections and all M&R activities.
• Control chassis repair costs, OOS status, and parts inventory.
• Lead vendor interactions and oversee compliance with DCLI repair standards.
• Track and resolve discrepancies in maintenance work orders.
• Conduct safety meetings and site audits.
• Support third-party billing, licensing, and service call operations.

Requirements:

• 5–10 years of chassis/trailer maintenance experience
• Strong vendor management, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
• Familiarity with Depot Systems, CMS-PC, and DVER/DVIR protocols is a plus
