Job summary

CapstoneONE Search represents a Fortune 500 manufacturing organization seeking a Maintenance Manager. The role reports to the General Manager and leads the Maintenance and Reliability function for a 1,300+ employee plant, supervising 50+ staff including skilled trades, maintenance supervisors, and engineers.

The incumbent will drive the maintenance strategy, oversee capital equipment PM/AM schedules, manage external providers, and lead major installations while collaborating across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 3–5 years of plant engineering or maintenance leadership experience.
• Experience in high-speed, fast-paced manufacturing environments.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff and work cross functionally.

Responsibilities

• Take complete ownership of the Maintenance and Reliability department including Skilled Trade professionals.
• Lead training and development of staff.
• Own the preventive and predictive maintenance schedule for all plant capital equipment.
• Manage external service providers and relationships with contractors.
• Oversee equipment installations and related management activities.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other internal departments.

We are representing a globally recognized FORTUNE 500 manufacturing organization who is actively seeking a Maintenance Manager due to a recently announced retirement. Reporting to the General Manager, the Maintenance Manager will lead the Maintenance and Reliability function of a 1,300+ employee manufacturing plant responsible for leading a department of 50+ employees with (Skilled Trades, Maintenance Supervisors, Engineers, etc..).

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Complete ownership of the Maintenance and Reliability dept inclusive of Skilled Trade professionals (Electricians, Multi-Craft Technicians, Machine Repair Technicians, etc...)
• Responsible for the training and development of staff
• Responsible for complete AM/PM schedule of all plant capital equipment
• Manage all external service providers and relationships with contractors
• Management activities inclusive of equipment installations
• Work cross functionally with different internal departments

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Degree is required for consideration
• Candidate should have at least 3-5 years of Plant Engineering or Maintenance Leadership experience
• Experience in high speed/fast paced manufacturing environment is required
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff and work cross functionally with others
