Job summary

Bell & Associates, Inc. is seeking an Engineering manager to lead the Production Maintenance Team in setup, repair, preventative maintenance, and improvement of semi-automated and automated production equipment.

Key responsibilities include maintaining CMMS, implementing equipment modifications, supervising a three-shift team, and ensuring safe, timely, high-quality maintenance activities. OSHA compliance and collaboration with HR are expected.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree strongly preferred.
• 3+ years of Maintenance Management Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years of Manufacturing Engineering or Maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform duties and maintain area cleanliness.
• Maintain CMMS for tracking work orders, parts, and history.
• Implement equipment modifications for safety/quality/efficiency.
• Supervise technicians across a three-shift operation.
• Ensure proper maintenance and operation of all production equipment.
• Analyze production data to prioritize corrective actions.
• Hands-on work as needed.
• Assist HR with interviewing, training, appraising, and addressing issues.
• Comply with OSHA safety rules.
• Develop project scopes, budgets, timelines, and resources.
• Collaborate with partners to integrate automation into infrastructure.
• Oversee daily maintenance activities and ensure quality execution.

Job description

Bell & Associates is seeking an Engineering manager to manage Production Maintenance Team in the setup, repair, preventative maintenance, and improvement of semi-automated and/or automated production assembly equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely perform duties in a responsible manner in accordance with company policy including maintaining general work area cleanliness.
• Ensure a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for tracking work orders, spare parts, supplies and maintenance history of plant equipment
• Implement equipment modifications in response to safety/quality concerns, product revisions and efficiency improvement requests.
• Supervise a team of technicians for a three (3) shift operation, continually developing them as they work to consistently achieve performance objectives in a safe work environment.
• Ensure the proper maintenance and operation of all production equipment and plant systems.
• Analyze production data to prioritize corrective and preventive actions
• Participate in “hands-on” work as needed.
• Working with HR, assisting with interviewing, training employees, appraising performance, rewarding, and disciplining employees, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.
• Comply with OSHA Safety and Health rules.
• Develop project scopes, budgets, timelines, and resource plans.
• Work with internal and external partners to ensure seamless integration of automation technologies into existing infrastructure.
• Supervise daily maintenance activities & ensure safe, timely, and high-quality execution.
• Other duties and projects as required.

Technical Requirements

• Engineering Degree strongly preferred
• 3+ years of Maintenance Management Experience in a Manufacturing Environment
• 3+ Manufacturing Engineering or Maintenance experience

Computer Skills:

• Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• SAP and some experience with some form of eMaintenance systems desirable.
