Job summary

Global Search Network is seeking a Maintenance leader to partner across the business and align plant performance with growth strategies. You will lead, coach, and develop multi-functional plant teams to drive continuous improvement, optimizing equipment reliability, operational productivity, and facility effectiveness.

You will work with senior leadership to champion proactive maintenance, manage budgets, and oversee reliability initiatives across safety, quality, and delivery objectives.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in manufacturing maintenance and plant operations.
• Engineering background with industrial maintenance knowledge.
• Experience applying Lean Six Sigma and 5S methodologies.
• Strong financial acumen and budget management experience.
• Experience using ERP maintenance modules.

Responsibilities

• Lead the site Maintenance & Reliability organization and own uptime and asset lifecycle.
• Join the senior plant leadership team contributing to safety, quality, delivery and talent development.
• Develop and execute an M&R roadmap and annual operating plan.
• Establish governance to track program performance and benchmark progress.
• Maintain a high-performing team with succession plans and retention strategies.
• Drive proactive maintenance, preventive/predictive strategies, and lubrication management.
• Improve OEE, MTBF, and MTTR through CI initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, regulatory standards, and GMP.
• Collaborate with Engineering on capital projects for asset reliability.
• Manage M&R budget and drive year-over-year cost savings.

• Experience: Proven leadership in manufacturing maintenance and plant operations within the CPG industry.
• Technical Expertise: Engineering background with deep knowledge of industrial maintenance, automation basics, facilities management, and progressive maintenance strategies.
• Continuous Improvement: Demonstrated experience applying Lean, Six Sigma, and 5S methodologies to drive operational efficiency and eliminate waste.
• Business Acumen: Strong financial acumen, budget management capabilities, and experience using ERP maintenance modules.
• Leadership Skills: Exceptional communication, coaching, and analytical problem-solving abilities within a matrixed, team-based environment.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Strategic Management

• Lead the site Maintenance & Reliability organization, taking full accountability for uptime, equipment lifecycle, facilities, and utilities.
• Serve on the senior plant leadership team, contributing to strategic planning across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and talent development.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive M&R roadmap and annual operating plan to maintain a competitive operational advantage.
• Establish robust governance to track program performance, monitor key metrics, and benchmark progress against industry best practices.
• Maintain a high-performing team by building succession plans and establishing talent retention strategies for critical technical and managerial roles.

Operations & Reliability

• Drive a proactive maintenance culture to eliminate downtime through preventive/predictive strategies, lubrication management, equipment calibration, and visual controls.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives to optimize Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Mean Time Between Failures, and Mean Time to Repair.
• Oversee site compliance regarding business continuity, food/employee safety, regulatory standards, Good Manufacturing Practices, and facility security.
• Collaborate with Engineering on capital projects to ensure seamless execution, continuous improvements, and long-term asset reliability.
• Manage the M&R operational budget, delivering year-over-year cost savings through downtime reduction, labor efficiency, and optimized maintenance spend.
• Oversee spare parts inventory and capital expenditure related to plant maintenance.
• Utilize Enterprise Resource Planning tools to manage work orders, inventory, and resource scheduling effectively.
