Job summary

LaTour Hotels and Resorts’ Church Street Inn in Charleston, SC, is looking for a Maintenance Manager to lead our facilities team and drive a proactive maintenance program. You will plan and supervise preventive maintenance, manage budgets, and safeguard guest experiences by keeping property assets in peak condition.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• EPA Certification.
• At least 5 years of building maintenance experience, preferably in hospitality.
• 2–3 years supervisory or management experience required.

Responsibilities

• Initiates, implements, and manages the maintenance program based on resort best practices, with emphasis on planning/scheduling and preventive maintenance.
• Maintains and repairs maintenance shop equipment.
• Ensures staff are trained, equipped, and motivated to work safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively.
• Supports hiring of maintenance staff, rewards and disciplines, and conducts performance reviews.
• Maintains and updates operating and training manuals.
