Job summary

CRH Americas Building Products in Marble Falls, TX is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to install, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment. You will communicate with production and management on shop issues and help keep production flowing smoothly.

The role requires knowledge of block production, mechanical and fabrication skills, and a collaborative approach to safety and housekeeping. This onsite position offers competitive pay and benefits, with opportunities for growth

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge in block production.
• Mechanical, hydraulic, welding and fabrication abilities are required.
• Computer skills are a plus.
• Teamwork and problem solving are essential.
• PLC programming/understanding is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment
• Organize and plan maintenance each day
• Prepare for scheduled maintenance
• Maintain schedules for special projects and preventative maintenance
• Keep shop and maintenance areas clean and organized
• Follow safety rules and lead monthly safety meetings
• Order parts for projects and maintenance supplies
• Listen for unusual sounds and discuss issues with supervisors
• Dismantle machines and install repaired parts; lubricate components
• Train and supervise maintenance team members

Job Summary

Install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, and physical structures. Communicate with production and management on all issues within the plant.

Job Location

• This is an onsite role based in Marble Falls, TX

Job Responsibilities

• Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment
• Organize and plan maintenance each day
• Prepare for scheduled maintenance
• Responsible for organization of schedules for special projects, in addition to preventative maintenance
• Maintain good house-keeping within shop and all maintenance areas
• Responsible for adherence to safety rules and making certain all monthly safety meetings are held with all maintenance employees in attendance
• Order parts needed for special projects and regular maintenance supplies
• Listen for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discuss machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine
• Dismantle defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts
• Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery
• Responsible for training and supervising other members of maintenance team

Job Requirements
