Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager to oversee plant maintenance operations at our Middle Georgia facility. You will lead a multi-craft team, optimize CMMS, and implement proactive maintenance to maximize OEE.

The role requires 5 years of experience in maintenance leadership, strong knowledge of electrical/mechanical systems, and a focus on safety and cost control. Salary ranges from $60,000 to $72,000 with first-shift hours.

Qualifications

• 5 years of maintenance leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Experience directing multi-craft technicians and engineers.
• Strong knowledge of preventive/predictive maintenance strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead a maintenance team across shifts, mentoring technicians, electricians, and mechanics.
• Drive preventative/predictive maintenance programs (PM schedules, TPM, vibration, thermography, lubrication).
• Troubleshoot electrical (PLC, automation, VFDs) and mechanical systems to eliminate downtime.
• Manage CMMS and track maintenance KPIs (SAP/Maximo/MP2).
• Ensure OSHA, LOTO, NFPA 70E, and environmental safety compliance.
• Oversee department budgets, vendor contracts, and CapEx planning in collaboration with plant engineering.

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee plant maintenance operations, safety protocols, and mechanical/electrical engineering support across our facility in Middle Georgia.

In this role, you will lead a team of multi-craft technicians, optimize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), and implement proactive preventative/predictive maintenance strategy to maximize overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and schedule a team of maintenance technicians, electricians, and mechanics across shifts.
• Preventative & Predictive Maintenance: Lead the execution of PM schedules, total productive maintenance (TPM), and predictive technology routines (vibration, thermography, lubrication analysis).
• Equipment Reliability: Rapidly troubleshoot electrical (PLC, automation, VFDs) and mechanical systems (hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes) to eliminate root causes of downtime.
• CMMS Management: Track work orders, spare parts inventory, equipment history, and maintenance KPIs using CMMS (e.g., SAP, Maximo, or MP2).
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure full compliance with OSHA standards, LOTO (Lockout/Tagout), arc flash safety (NFPA 70E), and environmental regulations.
• Capital & Budget Control: Oversee maintenance department operating budgets, negotiate vendor contracts, and partner with plant engineering on capital expenditure (CapEx) installations.
