Job summary

Carnegie Search in Southeast Atlanta is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead a team of Maintenance Technicians across multiple shifts, leveraging data-driven insights and hands-on mechanical knowledge to maximize uptime and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).

The role participates in capital equipment reviews, selects new equipment, and supports project management during installations, with a path toward executive leadership within the facility.

Qualifications

• Prior experience leading a maintenance team in manufacturing.
• Hands-on mechanical knowledge.
• Experience in chemical processing, consumer products, pulp and paper, or related industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 15-20 Maintenance Technicians across multiple shifts
• Analyze equipment data, downtime, and failures to predict future performance
• Assist with Inventory Management, Replacement Part Stock, Custom Tooling /Tool Design, etc.
• Manage team, interview new hires, lead performance management of the maintenance team
• Participate in new Capital Equipment Reviews. Select New Equipment. Help Project Management installations, etc.

Carnegie Search is hiring for a Maintenance Manager position in Southeast Atlanta!

This company is a well known business with over 50 locations globally. This is a leadership position that will join the management team of a facility with over 200 full time employees.

The Maintenance Manager will lead a team of Maintenance Technicians with responsibilities across multiple shifts. The successful candidate will leverage a combied data oriented approach with hands on mechanical knowledge to maximize uptime and increase Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE).
