Hudson Grande Senior Living in Hudson, OH is seeking a Part‑Time Plant Operations Assistant to support building maintenance, repair tasks, and safety of residents and staff. The role requires hands‑on construction and systems knowledge, physical stamina, and the ability to work Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 2:15pm.

Ideal candidates have HVAC certification and at least two years of multi‑unit maintenance with supervisory experience, plus a clean driving record and health screening TB

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• HVAC certification and experience highly recommended.
• Knowledge of construction, refinishing, painting, plumbing, floor/carpet care, refurbishing; landscaping a plus.
• At least 2 years of maintenance experience in apartment or multi-unit settings with supervisory experience.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to frequently lift and move items over 50 pounds.
• Active job requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping; ladder use required.
• Criminal background check required.
• Health screening within last 6 months and TB test clearance.
• Clean driving record as per insurer policy.
• Experience in senior housing preferred.
• OSHA regulations knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist Plant Operations Director in maintaining all community areas and servicing of equipment/tools.
• Rapidly respond to repair and maintenance requests and document progress.
• Maintain safety for employees, guests and residents; address environmental hazards and emergencies.
• Uphold compliance with health and safety standards and perform routine upkeep tasks.
