Job summary

Pick-n-Pull Auto and Truck Dismantlers is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee mobile equipment maintenance and lead a team at our Birmingham, AL facility. You will prioritize work, assess repairs, and ensure quality, safety, and cost efficiency in daily operations.

The role requires strong leadership, scheduling, and budgeting capabilities, with a focus on environmental and OSHA-compliant practices. Regular overtime and occasional weekend shifts may apply in this role.

Qualifications

Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in an industrial environment.
Prior supervisory or management experience is required.
Valid driver’s license required.
Strong analytical, math, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Schedule, sequence, and assign maintenance work by priority and skill.
Develop, monitor, and evaluate maintenance policies and procedures.
Compile and report operations and personnel data using MS Office and Oracle EAM.
Coordinate with internal and external customers to ensure satisfaction.
Plan and manage direct reports to achieve peak performance.
Monitor contracts, leases, expenses, and Budgets; stay within approvals.
Monitor HR policies and union contracts where applicable.
Perform special projects as needed.
