Job summary

Novelis Uhrichsville is seeking an Associate Maintenance Leader to guide safe, efficient maintenance operations and develop employees. You will manage short-term planning, policy decisions, and the implementation of maintenance policies and procedures on a 12-hour rotating shift (4 on/4 off).

You will drive 6S, continuous improvement, and incident-free operations while ensuring adherence to quality standards and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in a team-based management or leadership role.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work with different levels of the organization.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills; effective written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe, efficient maintenance operations and develop staff to build high-performing teams.
• Set and manage short-term plans; implement policies and procedures.
• Drive 6S and rapid improvement events; ensure procedures meet product specifications and quality metrics.
• Plan, execute, and control maintenance budgets and capital projects; monitor ROI.
• Coach hourly personnel in problem solving (A3s, 5-whys) and skill development.
• Support training, attendance, and payroll processes; summarise shift results.
