Job summary

Printpack is seeking a Maintenance Manager to provide strategic leadership for the maintenance department, drive equipment reliability, and uphold plant-wide safety and operational excellence.

You will lead preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, champion safety, and guide the team through lean initiatives while coordinating budgets and capital projects. Join a team focused on reliability and continuous improvement at our Wisconsin facility.

Qualifications

• Progressive maintenance leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Experience leading a maintenance department with supervisory responsibility.
• Experience implementing preventive and predictive maintenance and TPM.
• Technical degree in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatics.
• Expert knowledge in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
• Advanced experience with PLCs, automation systems, and robotics preferred.
• Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Kaizen certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and improve PM/PDm/CM programs to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• Champion safety leadership and serve as plant emergency coordinator.
• Drive lean and TPM initiatives and root cause analysis for equipment failures.
• Lead, mentor, and staff the maintenance team and staff department with qualified talent.
• Manage work order systems with emphasis on safety work orders and preventive maintenance scheduling.
• Coordinate and manage the annual department budget and optimize resource allocation.
• Manage capital and expense projects with Process and Corporate Engineers.
• Perform daily plant walks to observe safety, quality, and productivity issues.
• Select, oversee, and evaluate contractor performance for safe, cost-effective work.
• Support technical needs in dealing with community and governmental groups while maintaining compliance.
