Job summary

Aeon is seeking a seasoned Maintenance Supervisor to lead daily operations at our East Village property in Downtown Minneapolis. You will guide a maintenance team, tackle complex repairs, and ensure top-notch safety, cleanliness, and resident satisfaction.

This hands-on leadership role requires strong technical ability across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance systems, plus a commitment to preventive maintenance and efficient turnover processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of high-level apartment maintenance experience; affordable housing experience preferred.
• Broad technical expertise: plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, HVAC, and appliance repair.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to lead, train, and develop maintenance staff.
• Excellent organizational and inventory management for shop and tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance team; perform daily work orders; provide on-site technical guidance.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair building systems and components.
• Coordinate preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Oversee apartment turnovers; coordinate with staff and vendors.
• Maintain property standards, safety, and curb appeal.
• Prepare for inspections; ensure deficiencies are corrected timely.
• Manage vendors, bids, and purchasing within budget.
• Foster resident-focused service and teamwork.
