Job summary

U.S. Tsubaki is seeking a Maintenance Lead to maximize uptime across manufacturing, warehouse, and office spaces.

You will perform mechanical maintenance, minor electrical/plumbing tasks, and manage work orders in the maintenance database while coordinating with suppliers and supporting event setups. The role requires hands-on skills in hydraulics, HVAC, carpentry, and welding, with a strong emphasis on organization, proactivity, and customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in hydraulics, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, general carpentry preferred.
• Previous experience managing workload in Maintenance software preferred.
• Previous building maintenance experience preferred.
• Maintenance-related education/certificates preferred.
• Must possess good organizational skills and be independent and proactive.
• Must have ability to multi-task in a high-demand environment.
• Must be able to perform a large variety of job duties and be willing to learn new skills.
• Must be able to foster and support a team work environment, placing a high emphasis on excellent customer service.
• Ability to work independently, multi-task and prioritize work based on deadlines with high attention to detail.
• Good problem-solving skills and a general mechanical aptitude required.
• A sense of urgency required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a variety of metal working equipment such as mechanical power presses, CNC and manual lathes, etc.
• Perform various monthly preventative maintenance tasks.
• Maintain the maintenance database, recording Work Orders and other equipment-related data.
• Interface with suppliers.
• Assess and repair minor HVAC and exhaust system issues.
• Assess and repair minor plumbing and electrical issues.
• Repair and reconfigure office furniture and install furniture accessories as requested.
• Perform light duty carpentry and welding/fabrication work to resolve issues or accommodate customer requests.
• Perform setups to support events or organizational needs.
• Other tasks/functions as assigned.
