Job summary

U.S. Tsubaki Power Transmission, LLC in Wheeling, IL is seeking a Maintenance Lead to maximize equipment uptime by completing work orders across manufacturing, warehouse, and office areas.

You will perform mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and minor fabrication tasks, while keeping maintenance records up to date. The role requires independent, proactive work ethic, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks under deadlines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in hydraulics, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general carpentry preferred.
• Maintenance-related education/certificates preferred.
• Experience managing workload in maintenance software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a variety of metal working equipment including mechanical power presses, CNC and manual lathes.
• Perform monthly preventative maintenance tasks.
• Maintain the maintenance database with Work Orders and equipment data.
• Interface with suppliers for parts and services.
• Assess and repair HVAC, plumbing, and electrical issues as needed.
• Repair and reconfigure office furniture and install accessories.
• Perform light carpentry and welding/fabrication to resolve issues.
