Zusammenfassung

International Paper is seeking a Maintenance Technician in the Atlanta area to perform routine and preventive maintenance on industrial equipment. The role supports plant operations with timely repairs and accurate record-keeping, and requires readiness for alternate shifts and overtime as needed.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of industrial experience; corrugated/converting experience is a plus.

Qualifikationen

A high school diploma (or GED) is required.
One to two years’ experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is required.
Experience in the corrugated or converting industry is preferred but not required.

Aufgaben

Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Perform routine maintenance (lubrication, inspections, adjustments) and respond to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and steam systems using manuals and schematics.
Safely operate and monitor the facility boiler, keeping steam pressure above 180 PSI.
Complete maintenance records and inform supervisors of issues and progress.
Collaborate with team members, vendors, and subcontractors to meet maintenance goals.
