Revised personnel is seeking a Maintenance Lead Assistant for an apartment community in Galveston. This on-site role leads hands-on maintenance operations and mentors a small maintenance team to keep the property in top condition.

HVAC certification is required or strongly preferred. You will perform repairs across trades, manage unit turns, and coordinate with vendors while ensuring safety and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• HVAC certified preferred.
• Experience in lead or supervisory role preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliances, and general building systems.
• Lead, train, and coordinate a maintenance technician team to ensure work orders are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
• Conduct regular property inspections to identify and address potential issues proactively.
• Manage unit turns — preparing vacant units for move-in, including painting, cleaning coordination, and punch list completion.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests on a rotating on-call schedule.
• Communicate professionally with residents regarding service requests and timelines.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed, parts used, and equipment service history.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed.
• Ensure the property is always safe, clean, and well-maintained.
