Job summary

Eureka Multifamily Group in Austin, TX is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician to oversee day-to-day maintenance, respond to resident requests, and supervise the maintenance team to ensure safety, quality, and curb appeal across the community. The role requires HVAC and EPA certifications, strong supervisory and customer-service skills, budget involvement, and the ability to coordinate with the Community Manager.

This full-time position reports to the Property Manager.

Qualifications

• Two years of maintenance experience in an apartment setting.
• HVAC certification is required.
• EPA certification is highly preferred.
• Valid driver license.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train maintenance staff to meet safety and service goals.
• Develop annual operating budgets for maintenance categories.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, carpentry repairs.
• Schedule work, set priorities, and supervise maintenance tasks.
• Inspect apartments for turnover readiness and quality control.
• Manage inventory, vendor relations, and materials purchasing.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.
• Maintain site appearance and curb appeal.
