Job summary

American Regent, Inc. in Shirley, MA is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee processing equipment maintenance, changeovers, and upgrades, ensuring aseptic setups when required and minimizing downtime.

You will lead a team of mechanics, plan shutdowns, manage PM tasks, and coordinate with Engineering to improve efficiency while adhering to cGMP and safety policies.

This role requires 5–7 years of mechanic experience with supervisory duties and a background in pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of relevant mechanic experience with prior supervisory experience.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is required.
• Able to follow SOPs and document activities.
• Strong safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Effective communication and team leadership.

Responsibilities

• Initiate, implement, and manage preventive maintenance programs.
• Coordinate and direct projects and ensure timely PM tasks.
• Ensure equipment readiness for daily/weekly startup.
• Lead maintenance mechanics and manage scheduling.
• Maintain equipment parts inventory and cost controls.
• Ensure cGMP compliance and train personnel.
