Job summary

American Regent is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to ensure efficient operation of processing equipment through preventive maintenance planning and timely repairs. You will lead a team of mechanics, set priorities for projects and work orders, and enforce safety and housekeeping under cGMP guidelines.

The role requires 5–7 years of mechanical experience in pharma with supervisory responsibilities, strong SOP discipline, and excellent communication for cross-functional coordination.

Qualifications

• High School degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year in a leadership role is required.
• 5–7 years of relevant mechanic experience with prior supervision in pharmaceutical manufacturing is required.
• Ability to follow SOPs and document activities as outlined in SOPs.
• Strong communication skills and ability to train staff and supervise.
• Proficient with safety programs (e.g., Lockout/Tagout) and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and manage a preventive maintenance program focusing on planning and scheduling.
• Coordinate projects and direct process mechanics to achieve goals.
• Ensure equipment readiness for daily/weekly start-up and minimize downtime.
• Supervise Maintenance Mechanics and prioritize work orders and training.
• Maintain safety, housekeeping, and cGMP compliance across the team.
• Prepare reports, analyze data, and recommend improvements in equipment operations.
