Job summary

Eddie Kane Steel Products is seeking a Maintenance Lead for its Ohio operations. The role focuses on equipment maintenance, preventive plans, and coordinating repairs to ensure smooth production. You will work Monday–Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with a half-hour lunch. High school diploma and 3–5 years in manufacturing are required.

Ideal candidates have strong knowledge of wiring, motors, CNC systems, and heavy fabrication, with a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 3–5 years prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of low-voltage wiring and 120V single-phase / 480V three-phase systems.
• Knowledge of AC/DC electric motors and basic troubleshooting.
• Experience with heavy rigging, fabrication, and machine maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe work environment at all times.
• Respond to emergency maintenance problems promptly and provide solutions.
• Formulate and communicate maintenance plans to management.
• Schedule maintenance to minimize production downtime.
• Assist with maintenance projects and planned shutdowns.
• Develop tooling, jigs, and fixtures to improve production.
• Adhere to safety procedures and company policy.
