Job summary

Qualifications

• This role requires knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems and electronics (PLC).
• HVAC, carpentry, welding, machining and fabricating skills are also required.
• Proficiency in trouble-shooting and preventative maintenance is expected.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily/weekly/monthly preventative maintenance inspections.
• Maintain records of production equipment and safety inspections.
• Perform start-up procedures and train personnel in equipment operation.
• Purchase service components for repair or maintenance of equipment and facilities.
• Analyze equipment failures, determine causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Support Kaizen/Lean initiatives across the plant and ensure compliance with OSHA.
• Conduct safety compliance inspections and ensure records are up to date.
• May require occasional travel by car.
