Job summary

MSCCN in Arlington, TX is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee a group of salaried maintenance Group Leaders. The role requires leading maintenance and repair of plant equipment, coordinating across three shifts, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

You will interpret schematics and manuals, plan preventive maintenance, and drive continuous improvement with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience within high-volume manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years of experience managing maintenance activities and hourly personnel.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
• Ability to interpret technical documentation (schematics, blueprints, machine manuals)
• Ability to work / rotate through all 3 shifts (1st, 2nd & 3rd)
• Ability to work over-time, weekends, holidays, etc. as needed
• Ability to travel <25% of the time domestically and/or internationally.

Onsite - This role is categorized as onsite. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Arlington, TX on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will rotate amongst the three shifts and provide hands‑on leadership in a fast‑paced production environment.

The Role: In this role, you will oversee a small to medium group of salaried maintenance Group Leaders. Leads the maintenance and repair of plant equipment and facilities aligned with standard GM maintenance systems. You will conduct appropriate checks and tests and communicates evaluation of results. Responsible for preventative maintenance and diagnosis of equipment malfunctions, recommends solutions to problems, and meets schedule and quality requirements in addition to the following responsibilities.

What You Will Do (Responsibilities)

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)

• 3+ years of experience within high-volume manufacturing environment
• 3+ years of experience managing maintenance activities and hourly personnel.

What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)

• B.S. in Engineering (other technical disciplines may be considered if: 5+ Years direct technical knowledge & experience in manufacturing industry)
• Working knowledge of cost counsel activities
• Prior Manufacturing Engineering or Maintenance assignment & working relationship with UAW leadership and UAW skilled trades.
• Leadership in a manufacturing or maintenance environment
• Familiarity with GM Global Manufacturing System (GMS) and Lean Manufacturing principles
