Job summary

Clear Destination Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Lead to oversee mechanical/electrical maintenance technicians, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time performance while managing maintenance within budget.

You will train operators in PM activities and coordinate with production to minimize downtime. You will lead with strong technical skills in electrical/electromechanical systems, drive systems, PLCs (Allen-Bradley preferred), and a proactive approach to reliability and safety in a manufacturing

Qualifications

Industrial experience required or demonstrated comprehension of technical production specifications.
Skills in pneumatic, hydraulic and drive systems required; PLCs and industrial controls preferred.
Ability to lead a team and communicate clearly with peers and management.

Responsibilities

Ensure safe work practices and procedures are followed; identify and correct hazards.
Perform safety and environmental audits per OSHA regulations.
Support IPS Safety Teams and safety audits to meet site requirements.
Provide safety orientations for contractors and ensure pre-shift huddles and trainings.
Support maintenance reliability program and PM training for operators.
Schedule and assign work; enter work orders into CMMS; coordinate with production.
Maintain equipment to near-new condition; schedule repairs with minimal disruption.
Maintain Red Tag Program accuracy; verify equipment meets specs and tolerances.
Assist Engineering with equipment/facility modifications and new installations.
Identify parts and submit purchase requisitions; review work requests and scheduling.
Monitor technician skills for training and certification; document actions and trends.
Write work instructions and SDS-compliant safety procedures for site activities.
Provide after-hours support; coordinate shift coverage with Manufacturing Manager.
Comply with DHS CFATS requirements for sensitive site access where applicable.
Perform related tasks as requested by management.
